When your client needs a really easy CMS

I am sold on WordPress; don’t get me wrong. But sometimes a client needs a way to manage their site content and even WordPress is a bit of overkill.

Recently I went browsing archives and this site for a good sampling of simple CMSs in light of a new prospective client: she’s savvy but her site will be so basic and won’t have blogging updates.

This past Brutally Succinct post pointed me at some CMS considerations (and incidentally several recommended options).

However, in following up (searching for positive and negative feedback) I came across this comprehensive post on ‘The “Light” CMS Trend’ which is quite informative.
