22 logo design mistakes you might be guilty of | Graphic Design Blender.
Every time a list member asks for a review of a logo, and it is obvious they have no formal design training, and have gradients, photos and bevels in a “logo”, I cringe. Just like the home web site designers, they lower standards and make it cheap. Some eventually learn, but others, they keep on their merry way until the client asks for it to be used on other medium. Logos always must be done in vector. period. Otherwise you are doing the client a huge disservice, and yourself a professional disgrace.
