So many list members come to the list and ask for opinions on a logo. Not once has someone come in with a b&w design. it is always these colored gradient/beveled/looks good on a web site but will never scale to work on a pen or business card type of logos. They are doing the client a huge disservice by not learning the basics of good logo design first. Chances are the client will need it reproduced on many items, and will either have to hire a company to vectorized the logo, or worse yet, get a whole new one. Don’t ever forget that the logo is the single most important branding collateral that a company has, do it right. Do it like a pro, not like a wahm.
