Often when I am totoally in a design funk, especially when under a deadline, I cruise various photoshop sites, and eventually, I have a flash! Yes, this can happen to you as well. At the very least you can up your arsenal of PS brushes and play!

A project of Chris Coyier (whose name you might remember from my enthusiastic mention of his CSS-Tricks.com site) and David Walsh — if I’m remembering correctly, this is the same pair that put together the Band Website Template as well: Chris with the visuals and David with the programming.

Back to Script & Style — you might expect it to be a bit sparse, being a newer site, but it looks like the fellas have raided their stash because I’m back 25 pages into the archives and still going strong.

Each of their articles is not simply a headline link but describes what they found useful about the article to which they link. And you run the gamut here: MooTools, free icon sets, and someone’s best tutorials on converting PSD to XHTML is what’s in my browser’s page view right now, if that gives you an idea.

Based in WordPress, the site itself, with it’s pleasing half-and-half design, is a good way to kick start your design and development engine. So put it on your frequent visit list or RSS feed today.

Faye posted this link. I am adding the js to this site, and possibly my own site. I’ve not had support for IE6 in my contract for about 6 months now, even though I do still make sure the site works in it. I was thinking that next year, I’d stop even checking it.

It appears that Microsoft in all of it’s wisdom has bought this domain, or demanded it be turned over who knows, and has redirected the domain to some pages on Windows Vista.

Sucks. Now how are we ever to get people to upgrade to IE7 at least! You would think that MS would WANT that to happen, since they are only a short time from releasing IE8. Sigh….

I just spotted - or should I say, viewed - a new resource whose pricing structure starts at free. (Other price blocks are, as of this writing: $6.95/mo.(US), $13.95/mo, and Enterprise. Fees are month-to-month with option for a big price break for a 2 year commitment).

The product is VYEW, and having watched their demo videos, I’m just getting ready to sign up for a free account. I like the apparent simplicity of the process: no software to install, uses modern browsers. Also, there’s screenshot sharing and annotation, but no thick-bandwidth video or audio.

Ed: I might be wrong on that. Here are the tech specs, including “special features”.

If all is as they promise, they do compare favorably to other communication tools like WebEx, MS LiveMeeting, GoToMeeting and Adobe Connect.
