Okay. Feeling a bit over-enthusiastic right now, but I’ve been watching some of Chris’s podcasts this morning and they have been top-notch terrific in clarity and promotion of good, semantic CSS habits.

So put down the mouse and pickup your coffee (tea, soda, water, etc.) and check out CSS-Tricks.com. This morning, I’ve been watching the three-part, comprehensive walk-through on redesigning your WordPress project. And subscribe, already.

And send him a “thanks” when you’re done. His clear and very watchable tutorials have probably improved your productivity.

This was sent to the list by Elana (elfdesigns.com.au) and it is a keeper. It allows you to “see” a theme in dreamweaver. You can adjust things in the CSS and see it right away, instead of either setting up a local server or the tiresome uploading, viewing regimen. Handy if you make your own themes, like many of us to, for your clients. Sweet… and yes, I already bought it. It will be a huge time saver for me.

While the focus is on Miva Merchant (Susan is a very experienced Miva designer) it offers articles on many aspects of an e-commerce web site. It is geared to those that did/do their own site and have a bit of knowledge on the inner workings of the backend code. And of course, designers who take on all aspects of their client’s e-commerce sites. Some very well written articles, and a nice clean design. Using the Revolution magazine theme. No longer supported. This sucks, but then again it is done for free, and we should all be appreciative of the efforts. But it does suck. There are a few individual plugins that can do what this one did, so now I will go back to using them instead.
