some good reading here, good page to send to your clients who call you the day after you launch a site and ask why they cannot find their site in Google, and will it appear there tomorrow on the hom page. SEO is a separate profession. A nice one too, I just find it immensely boring.

All professions must continually expand and refresh their skillsets.  And if you are hanging the tag of “professional” on to your web design business, then you have to continually upgrade your skills. It is not going to come to you auto-magically, and if you are not reading up on things, how the hell can you call yourself a professional? You’ll be the first to be crying on mailing lists and in groups about the “slow economy”. Wah wah wah.

There is no excuse anymore to NOT be up on the latest.  I am giving you a ready made blogroll. Subscribe using a simple feed reader. I use Bloglines.

Often when I am totoally in a design funk, especially when under a deadline, I cruise various photoshop sites, and eventually, I have a flash! Yes, this can happen to you as well. At the very least you can up your arsenal of PS brushes and play!

a ton of great photoshop brushes here. save some time, fire up your creativity, or just slum it!

May be of use for someone. They have an extension for dreamweaver that makes your templating a wee bit easier. Easier means faster (most times) and faster means more $$ (most times)
