Okay. Feeling a bit over-enthusiastic right now, but I’ve been watching some of Chris’s podcasts this morning and they have been top-notch terrific in clarity and promotion of good, semantic CSS habits.
So put down the mouse and pickup your coffee (tea, soda, water, etc.) and check out CSS-Tricks.com. This morning, I’ve been watching the three-part, comprehensive walk-through on redesigning your WordPress project. And subscribe, already.
And send him a “thanks” when you’re done. His clear and very watchable tutorials have probably improved your productivity.

WordPress Extension for Dreamweaver
This was sent to the list by Elana (elfdesigns.com.au) and it is a keeper. It allows you to “see” a theme in dreamweaver. You can adjust things in the CSS and see it right away, instead of either setting up a local server or the tiresome uploading, viewing regimen. Handy if you make your own themes, like many of us to, for your clients. Sweet… and yes, I already bought it. It will be a huge time saver for me.

A list member needed a retro cowgirl. The links came in. Some nice stuffs here
http://www.retroart.com/ : Retro clipart
http://store.doverpublications.com/by-subject-clip-art-and-design-on-cd-rom.html : Dover Publications clipart.
http://designmeltdown.com/chapters/Retro/Part3.aspx : Design Meltdown’s page on retro styles
So this will also be an ongoing link love page. If you have a retro art/font/design/clipart link, post a comment!

Ecommerce Magazine | Miva Merchant Consultants | DoublePlus New Media Marketing
While the focus is on Miva Merchant (Susan is a very experienced Miva designer) it offers articles on many aspects of an e-commerce web site. It is geared to those that did/do their own site and have a bit of knowledge on the inner workings of the backend code. And of course, designers who take on all aspects of their client’s e-commerce sites. Some very well written articles, and a nice clean design. Using the Revolution magazine theme. You can see more of this theme, and others like it by heading over to the Revolution Theme site here…
Congrats to Susan on the launch of a very good resource and nicely designed site! Wordpress RULES!

How to Actually Execute Your To-Do List: or, Why Writing It Down Doesn’t Actually Get It Done | Zen Habits
Wow, could this have come at the right time for YOU? We have talked alot recently about productivity, to-do lists, goals, getting things done. Now for some concrete words on the actual “how”. Good timing for me in particular. I have a project that if I finish it, I can get paid, and I desparately need the money. But for the past week, it has moved from each day’s to-do list to the next. So… tonight a chunk of it, a small chunk, but still a bite.
How about you?

yah.. a few, not too many, that you can consume in bite sized portions.
